Classes
Princess Ballerina Level One
Ages 2-3 yrs
Our Princess Ballerina Level 1 is a an option of a 30-minute or hour long introductory dance class that is unique and valuable in the dance industry. The secret to the class is that it is structured and fun! It contains ballet and creative movement. Young dancers learn the necessary steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement in a positive environment. Engaging music is used to get these little dancers inspired to dance. The use of props such as “dancing bears,” hula hoops and maracas, enables the young dancers to use their imagination, creativity and, most of all, have fun!
Princess Ballerina Level Two
Ages 4-5yrs
Our Princess Ballerina Level 2 is an age-specific one hour class that contains ballet, tap and jazz. The purpose of the class is to introduce young dancers to the two styles of dance and inspire movement and creativity within a positive environment. Dancers also learn basic steps and terminology in both styles. For example, all dancers will learn what a “plie” is and how to demonstrate one. The use of fun music engages the young dancers’ minds and bodies. The use of props the parachute makes the end of class the most fun! This class has the option to add on a tumbling class.
Princess Ballerina Level Three
Ages 6-7yrs
Princess Ballerina Level 3 is a class designed specifically for our Kindergarten to first-grade children. This combo is a one hour long class ranging from ballet, jazz and tap to give the children a fantastic base and exposure to different types of dance. We have found that this “combination” technique helps to keep the kids excited, interested, and focused for the entire time minute period. This class also has the option to add on a hip hop or tumbling class
Mini Academy
Ages 8-10yrs
Our Mini Academy Classes are perfect for kids 7-10 years old. Dancers have the option to enjoy a jazz & technique class and/or a hip hop class as part of our Mini Academy program. These classes will give the children a fantastic base and exposure to Jazz and Hip Hop styles of dance. Both of these classes will perform in our Holiday Show as well as our End of the Season Showcase!
Youth Academy
Ages 11+
Our Youth Academy Classes are a combination of jazz & technique class and hip hop class. Dancers will participate in progressions and learn combinations in order to build their technique foundation in those styles. These are fun classes for older dancers who enjoy dancing in a non-competitive environment. All of our Academy classes will perform in our Holiday Show as well as our End of the Season Showcase!
